Timeless looks may not be the most trendy or exciting thing you could wear, but they suit everyone… no matter the year or what the latest looks are at the moment. That’s just one reason why I love them! Also, timeless looks are made up out of staple and basic pieces, meaning you usually don’t have to go out and buy something to put together one of these classic looks. What’s not to love about that?

Timeless Looks You Can’t Go Wrong With

1. turtleneck + plaid pants + loafers + duster
These pants are an absolute favorite of mine (also worn here) because they have the comfort of leggings, but the class of well, classiness. Plaid pants to me are a fall and winter staple. They’d also make for great work wear too!

A leather watch is the epitome of timeless (insert pity laugh/groan here) and it adds the right touch to any look. Related: 3 Cool Ways to Wear a Watch

Call loafers old fashion if you want, but there’s a reason they’ve been around for so long! And I’m definitely not mad about it. Some big bug eye sunglasses do add that little modern touch if that’s what you’re after.

And finally, a duster to elevate this look.

2. white button down + camel skirt + Burberry print scarf + black otk boots
You can’t go wrong with neutrals because neutrals=timeless, but it’s the classic Burberry print scarf that ties this whole look together!

A button-down is great for workwear, but it doesn’t have to be confined to the cubicle. With a couple buttons undone and loosely tucked in the skirt, it helps it to look more casual.

Over the knee boots are on the trendier side, but I do like the preppy vibes it gives to the outfit.
