Who loves leopard print? Let me hear you roar! Hehe, see what I did there? 😉 I’ve always considered leopard print a neutral and I wear it loud and proud, but hey, it doesn’t hurt that leopard print for fall is trending big this season! Because leopard print can be a neutral, it’s actually pretty easy to wear because there are a lot of mixing and matching options! Don’t believe me? Keep reading and I’ll show you!

5 Ways to Wear Leopard Print for Fall

1. leopard print skirt + sweater + loafers
A cozy sweater is an easy way to make anything look more fall appropriate! Let your sweater be perfectly oversized and a little undone for a chic French take on this leopard print skirt outfit. Related: 8 French Style Secrets

I actually wore this skirt and straw bag in the summer, so here is a quick transitional idea about how you can wear your summer pieces in fall! I switched out the sandals for classic loafers and the white t-shirt for a thick, cozy sweater.

That’s just one example of why I don’t think it’s necessary to store your out of season clothes in boxes away for the year. If you have the room you should move them to another closet because you can still make the pieces work with the right styling! Related: How to Wear Your Favorite Summer Pieces in Fall

Though I do know people that like putting their items away so when it comes to the next season it’s like shopping all over again. Up to you!

2. olive tee + denim culottes + leopard print heels + leopard print belt
If this print is too loud for you, you can experiment with it in small doses. Such as adding a little bit of print in a scarf, shoes, or belt. A great way to get your feet wet and add some playfulness to your wardrobe!

3. striped sweater + trench coat + skinny jeans + leopard booties
Here’s another example of adding it in small doses. I love pairing leopard print with stripes for a look that’s unique yet stylish.

4. leopard print sweater + camel mini + otk boots
This is an outfit I wore last season but lo and behold, it’s trendy again! I don’t see leopard sweaters or over the knee boots going out anytime soon and I love the balance that a shorter skirt has with taller boots.
*tip- leopard print is all about balance to avoid the “too much” problem, so try pairing a louder piece with neutrals if you feel the outfit is getting a little out of control*

5. little black dress + ankle boots + leopard blazer
Let the print shine by pairing it with all black. I really like the outfit juxtaposition here of a tighter and shorter dress with a looser and longer blazer.

I’m probably about to get a little annoying here, but people confusing cheetah print and leopard print is a huge pet peeve of mine haha. IMO they are not interchangeable. They are different animals after all.

This is a leopard:

If you look closely you’ll see that the spots are different. Please tell me someone else gets it haha! 😉

Anyways, moving on.

A lot of people are scared of wearing leopard print for fall because they think the print is tacky (only if you style it wrong), too much (same thing), and just not their style (I think there’s something for everyone!).

And there just so happens to be a lot for me because I love this print 😉 These items below are so cute!

Hopefully, this helped you to see the versatility of this print and show you how you can own leopard print for fall!
